Tascha Reese, LCSW-S

Graduated with her BSW in 1994 and her MSW in 1997. She has been a board-approved supervisor since 1999. She is licensed at all levels and has worked full-time in the field since 1994. Tascha has worked in a variety of social work positions from long-term care, emergency department, and crisis intervention to in-patient psychiatric hospital and clinical supervision. She has worked in both direct care and administration working with both children and adults and is currently in full-time private practice.

Bryan Mares, MSW, NASW-TX Government Relations Director

 After completing his MSW from Texas State University, Bryan started his policy advocacy career with Texas CASA where he completed a two-year policy fellowship program focused on children’s mental health and child protection issues.

During his time at Texas CASA, Bryan worked two legislative sessions where he successfully passed Medicaid legislation that would allow medically fragile children and older youth in foster care to maintain health coverage. Prior to Texas CASA, Bryan served as a policy aide to Texas state senator Judith Zaffirini. He now serves as the Government Relations Director of NASW-TX where he advocates for state-level system improvements that impact the social work workforce and the clients we serve.
